Hukkle - An elderly man sunning himself on a bench smiles through a bout of hiccups while a drunken youth snores nearby. Elsewhere, a kindly old lady picks lilies of the valley, women sew, prepare meals, men bowl near a tavern, pigs mate under the approving eyes of a farm couple. A sleeepy Hungarian village, but beneath the calm pastoral surface brews a cunning murder. Can you spot the clues?
This year's Hungarian submission for Best Foreign Film (Oscar).
Directed by György Pálfi. 75 minutes.
